Choices, Mr McDowell's first book talks about the life of addiction on the gritty city streets of West Palm Beach Fl.  In the tender teenage years when 15 meant going to dances and having first girlfriends and participating in school activities Mr McDowell was introduce to the streets of drugs crime and homelessness.(In His Own Words )  After I  befriended a few folks that I  thought were "friends" I quickly learned that their purpose was to introduce me to the game of hustling,don't get me wrong the life of the streets was just as addicting as the crack pipe and I loved that  and along with  the money an entangled web of self destruction soon followed and then I was in deep. 
The title of the book "Choices" talks about the decisions  we make in life and how the cesspool of crack addiction takes you into desperation which leads to crime jail and yes even death.Untimely events of my addiction including an attempt on my life as well as other experiences led by my bad choices still I could not escape the miseries of life until finally I stopped and made a different choice with the help and power of God.In this tell all story of redemption every reader of this book will find it to end in restoration and with the help of God all things are possible. Chosen Path speaks about my personal testimonial of drug addiction and life on the streets. It tells how substance abuse can lead to a life of false dreams and hopes of easy money, only to end up addicted to illegal substances.
